About the Product
The Facon CW-T825 is an 8" x 25" self-adhesive silicone heater pad for holding tanks up to 40 gallons. Two things to check before you order: it runs on 120V AC, not 12V DC, and it ships with 36" bare lead wires instead of a plug, so it gets wired into a shore power or inverter circuit. The built-in thermostat handles the cycling on its own, on at 45°F and off at 68°F, so the only thing you operate is the on/off switch you wire into the circuit.
**CURRENTLY ON A 3 WEEK LEAD TIME**

Installation & Wiring
Mount the pad at the lowest point on the tank, closest to the drain. Clean that area with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry, peel back the adhesive paper, then press the pad down firmly and smoothly. Do not stretch it. The pad has to sit flat against the tank or wrap around it, and nothing should sit on top of it, because heavy pressure damages the heating element. Ambient temperature needs to be at least 68°F for the adhesive to bond, so install before cold weather hits, not during a freeze.
Wire the 36" leads into a 120V AC circuit fed by shore power or an inverter, fused for the correct amperage, protected by a ground fault protection device, and switched through an on/off switch. Confirm you have that circuit before ordering, because this model will not run on 12V DC. Secure the leads so they do not hang below the bottom of the tank. If you are running more than one pad, wire them in parallel.
Flip the switch on as outside temperatures approach 45°F and the thermostat takes it from there. Switch it off once temperatures stay above freezing or the tank has been drained. Per Facon, the pad should not feel hot to the touch while it is working.
Compatibility
One CW-T825 covers each of these GoCode tanks. Every one of them takes a single pad.
