What is the Shower Port System?
A compact, all-in-one hot and cold shower kit for vans, RVs, boats, and campers. It combines a stainless steel mixer valve, multi-setting showerhead, 3 ft braided nylon hose, and quick-connect fittings into one system — a fully functional shower or spray-off station without complex dedicated plumbing.
What can I use it for besides showering?
The adjustable spray modes make it a rinse station for muddy gear, bikes, surfboards, wetsuits, and dogs, and it fills water containers fast. Mount it inside for a private shower or at the rear doors as an outdoor washdown port.
How does it connect to my water system?
Two included 12" supply hoses with 1/2" female fittings connect to your hot and cold lines, and a 16" hose runs from the mixer to the quick-connect port. No proprietary plumbing required.
Do I need a separate pump or water heater?
Yes — you'll need a 12V water pump (we recommend Shurflo or Seaflo) and a separate water heater. See our Pundmann water heaters for recommendations, or run cold-only for gear washdown.
What does the Pressure Fill option add?
The Pressure Fill variant adds a port that lets you fill your onboard water tank from a pressurized outside source — city water spigots, campground hookups — without opening your fill cap. One panel handles both filling your tank and showering.
Will the hose rattle while I'm driving?
No — the hose is braided nylon, not metal, and it stores in the zippered ripstop pouch when not in use.
Is this the same system used in the Tetravan Folding Shower?
Yes — the Folding Shower ships with this exact Shower Port System pre-installed. Buying it standalone gives you the same stainless fixtures for a custom shower, wet bath, or exterior washdown setup.
Is it suitable for marine use?
Yes. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion, and the quick-disconnect design suits boats, RVs, and campers alike.
